By teacher feedback and peer observations.

Introduction

To issue a questionnaire to teaching staff asking them to identify their own strengths and weaknesses at the start of the project.


These will then be collated into an action plan for delivery of specific teaching practices using the Teaching Walkthrus books as a resource to guide the discussion, reflection and implementation of the strategies.


Each strategy will be introduced to the team, they will spend two weeks implementing this strategy. It will then be reviewed as a team on a weekly basis. At the end of the two week period, another strategy will be introduced to the team etc.


We will continue this process of introduction, implementation and review for at least six strategies.


We will then conduct short focused interviews with staff so the impact of the programme can be reviewed and these will also be supported by ‘low stakes peer observations’ within the team.
